PrepPlus
PrepPlus, the school's academic support and enrichment program, runs from 7:15 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Among its
staff members are high school and college-age Community Prep graduates who serve as tutors and mentors.
Offerings include:
- an after-school silent study with teachers and tutors
- inter-scholastic soccer, baseball, and basketball teams for boys and girls
- an after-school enrichment program that includes:
- piano
- violin
- guitar
- dance
- karate
- I-Movie production club
- Poetry Slam club
- group and individual tutoring sessions offered before, during and after school hours with tutors, mentors and the
school's reading specialist
- supervised use of the school's computer room and library
- presentations by alumni who return the Community Prep to talk about their experiences
