It’s an honor and privilege to have been chosen as the next head of school at Community Prep - A school founded on an educator’s dream to create a learning community that is diverse, inclusive, upholds high academic standards, and serves the children and families of Providence and its surrounding communities. Our founder, Dan Corley, set forth a mission that continues to be as important as ever: to provide a private school education that is accessible to all, regardless of background. His stewardship of the school has created a strong foundation and a legacy that will serve students for generations to come.
As an educational leader for over 20 years, it has also been my dream to lead a school that provides access to an excellent education where students experience learning as joyful, reflect on their values, grow to appreciate the rewards of hard work, and develop their full academic and leadership potential. I feel fortunate to have been allowed to continue this legacy. As I begin my tenure, I’m excited and hopeful for the future as we work together to uphold our mission and strengthen our Beloved Community.
